We were impressed with the attention to detail, as everything we needed was provided, including tea, coffee, and homemade goodies. the location was also perfect, situated in a peaceful and idyllic setting. the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel like royalty during our stay.

There was honestly nothing to fault about our experience. We couldn't find a single negative aspect.

The host, Susan, was incredibly attentive and even gave us a lift to the wedding we were attending locally. the room was beautifully decorated with homely touches and finished to an amazing standard. the home-cooked breakfast, complete with menu, was top class. From the warm welcome to the attention to detail and design flair throughout, everything about our stay was perfect. We cannot speak highly enough of Susan, the host, and the accommodation. Cons: Everything was exactly what we needed and wanted! 😊.

Loved the historic charm, especially when St Malachy's Parish Church reminded me it was completed the same year my great-great-great-great grandfather picked out his first powdered wig. The Aqua Park was a blast, like climbing walls and free falls aren't my usual Wednesday activities. Staycation goals achieved!

The cozy and charming decor of Bay Tree Cottage truly made me feel at home. The vintage furnishings and delightful little touches created a warm and inviting atmosphere that was perfect for a relaxing stay. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was. The facilities were well-maintained, and everything was conveniently located on the ground floor. It made moving around much easier for me.

If I had to think of one small thing to improve the vacation for senior people, it would be helpful if the children working there could provide a bit more assistance with luggage handling. But overall, my stay was faultless, and this tiny suggestion in no way detracted from the wonderful experience I had at Bay Tree Cottage.
